Silk ribbon Embroidery and Sweet Little Messages

Still raining and cold here. So I decided to finish up
some UFO's. This is one of my favorite sayings. It reads,
Your mind is your garden
Your thoughts are the seeds
The harvest can be either
flowers or weeds.
(you can click on photo to enlarge)

Another favorite.
If it keeps raining I may run out of UFO's.
Oh dear what would I do then.
I have listed these in my Etsy shop.

The one below was for a friend for her birthday.

Well I guess I will go peek

Yup it's still raining... no gardening today.

Absolutely beautiful Sharon. You reminded me how I used to do silk embroidery a long time ago. :-) We have had rain too but today blue skies with a few white puffy clouds.....so nice.

Your work is stunning. Today we are having sunshine and I shall try to send some up your way. Happy creating...

With the rain you have a chance to finish all those WIPs and recuperate the body for another day of weeding, digging, planting et al! Mother Nature knows best! :D :D :D

Beautiful! I really like the second one. Oh, and that last little picture of the girl peering out the window...cute!

I love what you've made, Sharon. It's just beautiful! I'm sure you're looking forward to being outside, but I really enjoy seeing what you've made when you're inside! ;-)

Fabulous silk ribbon embroidery, Sharon! Hasn't this weather been icky? It didn't rain on our bride though so I'm not really complaining. The GK went home this morning and is it ever quiet here!

You have such awesome talent Sharon, do you mind if I use the little girl picture on one of my projects?
The weather has been perfect for getting some stitching done, and you've taken advantage of it well!

They are lovely and so is your embroidery. When I was in Nantes I first embroidered with ribbon, the result is so beautiful....

Oh Sharon, I just love that saying about "your mind is a garden" - that is awesome. I'd like to post that on my blog and I will link to you if that is ok? Thanks for your comments, it is always good to hear from other bloggers! I cannot believe you still have bad weather? It will be in the 90's this week in Georgia (way too hot for me). Take care and keep in touch. Loves from the QueenMarcy

I see you put your non-gardening days to good use-lovely creations!
I planted nine new roses today-I hope they do well.

Take care,
Carolyn
