Purple Journey Journal

Just finished this journal.
It measures 5 1/2x 8 3/4 inches
and has 44 pages.
The writing pages are a soft
buff  color, slightly textured.
I love this paper for writing.
The interior front and back pages
are this wonderful patterned paper.
A great journal for all the journeys life brings.

You might remember this embroidery
from a few post ago about journal
covers I was making.

Working on Journal Covers

Have been working on journal covers for some journals
I have been making . A little machine sewing, some beading,
hand embroidery and stamping. All done on a nice weight
linen.

Adding different elements as I go along.
Love the button in the center of the flower.
Progressing at a snails pace but will show
you more when finished. Have been taking breaks
to watch the snow falling. About 12 inches now and very cold.
What's with this weather anyway....!?!

Je t' aime Bag!

Yes you have seen this before, when it wasn't finished.
Now it is finally  done. I just kept adding and fusing with it.
So now I listed it on my Etsy!
If you go there you can read all the things I put
into this little gem.
Now on to finish more UFO's.

A Special Little Gift

One of the posse became a grandmother and
of course we had to celebrate with a grandma-ma shower!
It was so much fun as her daughter and the baby came too.
It's been a long long time since I have held such a
precious tiny bundle.
I was mesmerized by her tiny feet and hands, so delicate.
She never woke up as she was passed around. I wish I
could sleep that well. LOL
Anyway I made and embroidered this little gift.
I padded the frame with a sweet light yellow and
white polka dot material.
What a fun celebration of a sweet new life!

Just finished up this little embroidered
piece. Reminds me of warm summer days,
spent sailing the San Juan islands.
This is good as when I woke this morning
it was only 18 degrees. We have warmed
to a heat wave of 21 degrees! Ha....
I shall list this in my little shop later
today. Stay warm everybody!!!!!
