Some New Cards and Piggy Squeals!

                                                                

All the Fall colors have me painting again.

1. Just got a new palette that holds 48 1/2 pans I spent the day filling the 
2. little pans. That was a workout in itself. Had to order this from England 
3. and it wasn't suppose to arrive til mid Oct. But low and behold it came in 6 days.
4. I was squealing like a little piggy when I opened the package. I am sure the neighbors
5. 5  acres over thought I had started raising piggies. Oh well I am happy.
6. Hope you all are having great beautiful Fall weather too!
7. PS I have no idea  what the 1-8 numbers to the left are, but I can't get rid of them. :-(
8. PSS I see thanks to several of you the errors off my way with the numbers! LOL But can't 
9. seem to remove them without losing the text so they will remain with this post. My brain is in default today.

The Weather Has Turned....

 Woke to snow on the top third of Mount Si the other day

and the leaves turning  beautiful colors.

We have so much green in Washington that I made sure

to add Japanese Maples around the place so I would have my Fall colors.

Have been busy painting away more cards in the studio. Getting 

ready for the holidays.

And Teddy has been on chipmunk patrol.

It really is a game with him and Stretch our resident munk.
I don't think Teddy would have the foggiest idea what to do if 
he caught him. 
I'm off to have a cup of Earl Grey tea and curl up and watch some TV.

We had a week of beautiful sunny weather. One 

day it actually got to 61 degrees!

The rain has returned so I am back in the studio

painting away. 

I though about reorganizing the studio and then

 remembered the last time I did that, and thought 

better of it. Just paint! LOL

Squash Book

Been having a little fun making Squash books.

This is what one looked like opened up.

A Day Painting and Planting

I spent the morning finishing up some little

cards, I've been painting.

I think it is always nice to make your cards. 

They just seem more special.

Always good to have on hand too.

These were done with watercolor,

copic marker, permanent pens.

Then I spent the afternoon planting the first

raised vegetable bed.  We have had to move 

our raised beds closer to the house this year

as the Elk have destroyed our fencing down below.

This has been no easy feat as each bed is 14 feet by 4 feet.

Had to break them down and haul (that would be carry) them

up by the house and then haul all the good soil up. (we used

the tractor for that part, thank heaven). So I am heading up 

for a nice long hot bubble bath.

Tomorrow we move the next one. :-(

The Earth Laughs in Flowers....

Spring is on my  mind, although when I woke

this morning and peaked out my window to

my surprise snow on the mountains.

Big time snow...... just above us!

I have been having fun dabbling in all sorts of

creative projects. I  love this one as it has a

sense of humor. What with a spigot top, polka dot feet

and a fat little sunshine, you have to laugh.

Did I mention the chubby lady bug and the dancing frog!

Or the singing frog!

I hope I won't have to add snowflakes! Brrr... and to think it was 62 degrees last Saturday.

Windy Night Painting

Just taking a break from stitching.

Living in the great state of Washington...

but of course one would see umbrella's

flying through the air on a windy rainy night.
