Actually I did little digging as these little gems just smiled up at me.
Now they are tiny but they are sea glass. It was fun and that's what counts. Some of you asked to see my find. Meager as it is, don't blink now....ta da! Do you see the yellow one? It is small but oh so pretty. Now I have to get pack to my stitching, more later.

Wooo, I wouldn't call that a small bit!!! I think you did great. I just love the little rush you get when you look down to see a little piece winking back at ya :)

How fun to find these! what will you do w/ them?
Hope you had fun outdoor!! ;)
I LOVE sea glass. They are one of my faves! I have some of them, too, collected during my travels. Love those opaque shades of white, aqua, green and blue.

Lucky you to be able to just "saunter" to the beach for sea glass! (speaking as someone land locked in Missouri!)
Your post was a breath of fresh air for me today. :)
It is sooo very hard to find beach glass here on the Cape - there are people who go out VERY VERY early in the morning and get all there usually is to find. I do find an occasional piece when the kids and I go swimming. My favorite piece I found was a perfect letter "G" contained within a piece of clear glass (most likely from an old medicinal bottle).
Sharon, these are amazing mermaid's tears! It's been ages since we've been to Maine where we love to search for them amid the rocks.
