In search of Sea glass...

It's Saturday and the sun is shining. This is rare! So I coaxed DH to take me to West Seattle in search of sea glass.

In this photo you can see the Olympic Mountains. Yes that is snow on top still.

This the main beach at Alki. Everyone and their dog was there. Dogs are not allowed on the beach. :( But they can promenade on the boardwalk. Thank you DH. Teddy and he did a little walking while I went in search of sea glass.

We drove on and looked at this beach but it was really rocky and Teddy wanted to move on.

Ah now Teddy likes this park, I wonder why....

Ah yes big trees to check out. So we hike on down the trail following the beach sign

and ended up high above the beach which looked rocky. So we called it a day .

The view coming home from West Seattle looking over at Seattle.

Had lunch at a little restaurant looking out at the water. Sun still shining down on us. Amazing, Saturday in Seattle.

Do you think we wore him out?
AND YES I FOUND SOME SEA GLASS.

It sounds like you had a beautiful day! It is good to get outside away from art, home and the computer. I find it refreashing and then I am ready to tackle another project. This weekend when not outside. I took some sea glass and crocheted wire mesh to fit around it. I am making a necklace. I hope to share that this week sometime. Beautiful pics!

The hunt sounded as fun as the find. Teddy does look like a pooped pup.

Sharon, I'm so happy you got some sunshine for your day at the beach.
What will you do with the sea glass?
My sister in law lives in Lake Stevens, is that near you?
