A Little silk ribbon Embroidery!

I think I am dreaming of Spring again. Certainly seems far away as I look out at the snow covered garden. Every morning we have had a snow shower. We went out on Sunday and got stuck in our driveway when we came home. Reminds me of break up in Alaska when I was living there. Anyway here's my little embroidery. I love doing little things like this.

I clicked on this photo to get a larger view - what beautiful detail! And I love the frame that you put it in! (P.S. I never knew you lived in Alaska!! Bet you have some great stories!)

What a beautiful little jewel of a piece!! i love small things like this! One can tuck them into the decor in unexpected places and then those who come upon them get a wonderful surprise!!!
You really have been having a stretch of weather this year- maybe drought worries will be helped later on!!
Spring IS on the way!

Sharon, you always make the most beautiful miniature embroideries, I had a look at the close up and there is so much detail, love it!
Sorry you are still having snow, we have had rain here in Ontario, Canada but I am hoping we have seen the last of the snow.

You're good at this. Would you believe I used to own a needlework shop, teach needlework and have NEVER done silk ribbon embroidery at all!
How can you pull it through the fabric without your fingers getting sore?
