I have been away from my blog because the garden called and said WEED ME... and many other expletive's that a lady couldn't put in print! I can hardly walk let alone talk. I have discovered muscles I didn't know were in the human body. But once I finish with my major overhaul things will be easier to care for.
There is nothing more peaceful than waking early and going into the garden to water the plants. The birds are waking up and singing and the deer are in the pastures munching away.
See this lovely peach colored rhodie called Sunset . Well I bought several large azaleas many moons ago that were suppost to be the same light peach color. Two of the five were, but three were not......
MMMMMM... one needs sunglasses to view these sweethearts, don't you think. Every year someone says to me, "What were you thinking!!!" But you know I love them for every year for a few weeks they put on a show you could see from outer space.
A little more peaceful. Makes me want cotton candy!!! I shall post some art that I have finished a little later, but right now it's back to the garden before we hit 80 degrees.
A small PS to Ms. Shelley! Teddy is still waiting.......

Absolutely stunning. I can't believe how many blooms are on your shrubs they must get lots of loving from you.
What is that orange plant ... an azalea or rhodie or what?! It is equisite. I just my gardens with weed killer ... this rain is driving me nuts trying to keep up with those little dickens. I think God truly has a penchant for weeds.

I bet Teddy helped in the garden. Ptuiii on whoever asks what you were thinking! I think they are grand! Besides ... peaceful gets old! Need a jolt of color every now and then!
I love to walk through your garden also. Keep posting that garden.
Nice photos, Sharon! Hasn't our weather been great? I've been feeling pretty creaky lately too...those weeds'll get you everytime.
Beautiful Sharon! I am jealous..lol.
It is so hard here to grow pretty flowers so I am enjoying yours...if that's ok?LOL
Here when planting a tree, digging a hole means a bucket full of rocks before being able to plant anything.
Hmmm maybe that's why they say we live in the Rocky mountains area?
Enjoy girl..ooh and by the way after planting ten trees these last days I can relate to those totally unknown muscles!
Andrea.
Weeding is such hard work, but like you say if you catch it early you save yourself lots more work. Those flowers are just so beautiful!

You have such a beautiful garden...I have to say while I am envious I also live vicariously through yours! We moved 12 years ago to a place with nothing but sugar sand and even raised beds just don't work so I LOVE your garden! Thank you for your kind words on my blog....they mean a lot!
