I am doing a little swap with
Andrea. She wanted a puzzle piece and the little fairy in my garden wanted new shoes. So here is Andrea's puzzle piece and when I get my fairy shoes I will post them for all the world to see. The fairy is very happy about all this. I worked in the garden all day and that's all she would talk about. She has been very upset lately because I accidentally knocked over her toad stool. She has even threatened to take her friends and leave. I give up....
I hope you all have a Happy Mother's Day and beautiful weather.

Happy Mother's Day to you, too!
Hmmm it's very obvious you have forgotten to tell that little slip of a faerie that you are the Queen in your garden!! :) It's most important that you establish your self as the alfa faerie!!

When the fairies finally appear they do seem to be a little finicky. The puzzle pieces are just so wonderful! I can't wait to see your trade!
At least you have fairies in your garden. We currently have Mayflies and I'm allergic to their bites. :-(
Can't wait to see their little shoes!
I saw a tiny pair made once out of felt - they were made like a tiny, pointed, delicate boot with wings attached to the back of them! So sweet! So easy to make! Ever read "Seasons at 7 Gates Farm"? It's a decor book by James Cramer and Dean Johnson. I think, sadly, Dean has passed on, but James might be the artist who designed the little fairy boots.

Sounds like a nice swap to me! I just adore your puzzle pieces!
Thanks for the reminder to let my fairies out of their winter hide spot! That's a really pretty puzzle piece, Sharon. I will be anxious to see the fairy shoes!
