It must be something in the water....?!!!

You would think it was my birthday! I just have been very, very lucky as of late. I have won a giveaway and a give-back and another giveaway. It must be something in the water. LOL First was a very nice giveaway from Brynwood Needleworks . This is such a fun blog. Donna is a very interesting lady and has much to be proud of. Drop over and visit her and make sure you read her profile. You won't be disappointed! Anyway she had this amazing giveaway. I won this wonderful gift of perfumed wash and body butter. I love this fragrance called Grace. She tucked in this sweet tag with charms and her crochet flower, a tiny birds nest, and a bobbin ribbon saying blessings. I love the box it came in too. What a sweet gift and I thank you Donna!

Then to my amazement another package arrived from Laura of 52 Flea! She had a give-back and oh my goodness she certainly did! She and her friends went to the Madison Bouckville Antique Dealers sale... I was one of her winners and so she asked what I like. I said I do crazy quilting so any little thing for that would be nice. She was to be my personal shopper. So I thought I would get a pc. of lace or a small charm. So you can imagine my shock when this big box arrived.

Another beautiful box! Love the pink tissue and sweet note tag. There was a beautiful silk (with silk ribbon embroidery) jewelry bag, inside some nice charms and a cute pin. There was more needlework doilies ( crochet) than you could possibly see in the photo. A sweet pin keep. And gorgeous lace butterfly from France! I just sat there looking at all the lovely things and thinking how thoughtful and kind. Laura you outdid yourself and I truly thank you. Check out Laura's blog. It always is a delight. She took us on a home and garden tour earlier this year that was so enjoyable. You get to see things in her neck of the woods. Fun fun fun!!!!!

Then today this envelope arrived from my very special friend Pat. Pat is the one who got me hooked on Crazy Quilting. She has a marvelous book about her adventures in Crazy quilting that would make you drool. She is one gifted lady and you can visit her blog Gatherings and see all her wonderful creations. She is always having fun giveaways. I was one of her lucky winners. In the envelope was a precious little birds nest with sweet little blue eggs all on a blue ribbon. So I can where it as a necklace. Pat seems to know I like blue. Her friendship means the world to me. Plus my dog is in love with her dog. LOL!!!!

So as you can see I have had a very special week. Even the mail lady was asking what's up! My DH would come home and say here's another something for you. Then look at me strangely for a second or two and run off to check the calendar. Ha, poor guy. Gifts or no gifts I truly love all my blogging friends. You all mean so much to me. I have breakfast with you all every morning and so enjoy seeing what you are up to. So thank you one and all. (good grief, I sound like tiny Tim) Have a great night and I'll see you at breakfast.

Well Sharon, I think you spread a lot of happiness around out there yourself. Everything that heads your way is well deserved my friend. Enjoy your goodies, loved seeing your new treasures. I always say that I don't need to be the recipient of things, just love to see them. Hugs,Pat
