Saturday morning I awoke to cloudy looking skies and was worried it might rain. This was the day the town of Duvall WA was having the 8th annual Festival of Color outdoor quilt show! It is put on by TheQuilter's Garden, quilt shop on Main Street.
Teddy and I headed North and the skies cleared up to a beautiful day with sunshine and a gentle breeze. Duvall was very busy, lots of people and loads of beautiful quilts. So camera in one hand, dog leash in the other hand we headed out. I love this town for it has maintained its small town charm and yet kept up with the times.
not to sure about this rather large rabbit outside Duvall Books!
Then we came across this large cow just outside the restaurant. Teddy growled. LOL We finally started our trek through the wonderful quilts. It was hard to pick just one favorite.
They were all so bright and colorful. They were a mosaic all on their own.
A great day was had by all and one very tired dog!Drop over to Mary's Little Red House to see all the other wonderful mosaics people have created. Thanks Mary for hosting Mosaic Monday!

Quilters are certainly artists, as your shots show us...and love the tromp l'oeil painting of the cow...a great artist...
I love your post and yes the quilts are mosaics. I posted two posts this past week about a quilt show here in my area. I hope you enjoy my photos too. I do not quilt but I am in awe of anyone who does quilt. How talented those ladies are!

Your images really convey the colors and shapes of the quilt show. Poor Teddy. I hope it wasn't too stressful for him.
Thanks for visiting! I always stop by here, even though I don't always comment. Love your blog!
