Took a little road trip down to Fall City Farms today. It is one of my favorite places to go and to shop. It truly is a lovely place and the owners always make you feel welcome. Even with a misbehaving Ted dog. I made him wait in the car while I shopped and he just decided to let everyone know that he was there and not happy. I have never seen him howl like that. It was something else. But I digress....We were greeted by giant sunflowers as we came down the road. What a welcoming feeling, blue skies and nodding sunflowers. Their dahlias are lovely too. There is some interesting old farm equipment to look at . Their wonderful "well behaved dogs" greeted me and then proceeded to go back to their naps.
Just look at all the great produce! The corn is to die for, and that coming from a MN gal is high praise!!! I purchased some fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, basil, green peppers and corn. I shall return next week for much more. Teddy may or may not be coming along. He napped all the way home from exhaustion.... yup! That's my Ted dog....
Hope you enjoyed Fall City Farms. Drop over to Mary's blog, Little Red House to view more mosaics. Thank you Mary for being such a great host for Mosaic Monday!

Great collage. I love the feeling you get at a farmer's market. All of the luscious summer veggies are soon to be gone so this is a welcome last summer produce blast.
I also love the Puget Sound area. I lived there for 9 years on Whidby Island but had to move :o(
Fresh vegetables. Sunflowers to die for :)
It all looks so delicious! Is there anything better than fresh corn on the cob?
What a wonderful mosaic! Beautiful!
The produce looks so fresh! Love the squash too! Ted is a cutie! Great combination of pictures on your mosaic!

Your mosaic is beautiful or should I say delicious! It's just what I need to remind me of harvest back in Wisconsin, my home state. Here in the southwest farmers markets are few and far between. Love it!

Love your fall pics! And Scout thinks maybe Teddy was "singing" in the car cuz it's fall! :-)
Hi Sharon, your mosaic taking us to the farm is gorgeous. I wish we had cool farm markets like that in my area but only producer farms around here. I especially love the sunflower shot and the one with the display of all the veggies - is that purple cauliflower? Glad to know you were a MN girl - where did you grow up? Gee I ask a lot of questions on my first visit don't I...must be the MN girl in me wanting to get to know everyone I meet.
Beautiful vegtables! on a gorgeous day. Poor puppy couldn't shop with Mommie, vegies are good for him. You could have made him pull a wagon for you with all that loot. Give him something to do don't cha know! Are vegies aren't looking so great. To many bugs and so little time! Thanks for the comments you crack me up. Hey I had a miracle occur, come on over. Have a great day. Pearl
You asked about he 'Pooping Pigeons' paper, where I found it. Not sure I have had for a while just waiting for it to fit into one of my little mini stories. I may have been searching for RED stuff and popped across it. I thought it was pretty funny too ;-)
Thank you for your kind comment! Your photos are so beautiful. I love sunflowers
Bonjour!
Oh Sharon! What a beautiful colorful blog you have! I really enjoyed my visit! Your mosaic pictures are so pretty, like little gems! And your crazy quilted puzzle pieces so whimsical! Did you ever manage to do some serious beach combing this summer? I am a beach comber maniac, so I want to hear about it and all the treasures you found. Will be back often for a visit! Take care, LuLu
