Bird of Paradise Quilt..

This is my Bird of Paradise quilt, I did as a challenge to myself.
The challenge was sharp points! I think by the time it was finished I had
mastered sharp points. I worked behind "closed doors" for fear someone might hear what I was muttering as I brought out my trusty ripper just one more time.
It is another one of my favorites. I smile when I look at it and
remember how I struggled with it. Today I consider it a dear old friend!

Absolutely magnificent, Sharon! You're such a talented quilter! I love Strelitzia as art subject, I painted it so many times on silk!

Stunning Sharon. You nailed it! I know from experience how hard those points are. My hat is off to you for not giving up. Love the colors.

I have absolutely no idea how you achieved sharp points, Sharon, but this quilt has them and it is gorgeous! Maybe, someday, you wouldn't mind sharing your technique? :)

Have a beautiful weekend!

Wow, Sharon, I am impressed. I'm still smiling over our shopping spree last week. I finished off the purse and it's already arrived back home in CO; mine was waiting for me when I got home from our adventure. Wish you could see it!
