I'm down for the count...

I am down for the count. woke up Sunday morning feeling like a
truck had run over me. Then the sore throat, then sneezing, now
laryngitis.... Whoa is me... Christmas presents waiting to be bought...
tree to finish decorating....missing the Christmas tea at a friends
home...Teddy wanting to go for a walk, you get the picture.
Then I get all drugged up on cold meds and decide to pick some music
for my blog for the holidays... NEVER do this when your on the meds...
Now all I want for Christmas is a hippopotamus!
Somebody help me, paleeeeez......ho ho ho

Sharon, I swear by this remedy. Airborn, and advil. Every 6 hours. If you can find this tea called Rooibos, (health food store, or Trader Joes) it has 10 times the antioxidents as green tea. Drink it all winter, I have not been sick yet. I hope you feel better soon.

Hi Sharon,

I am sorry to hear you have come down with 'it'. Maybe you can get by without doing most of the stuff, but I would definitely rethink your Christmas list. That hippo is probably going to sit on your thread and you will have a difficult time getting him to move off of it. And poor teddy - whatever will he think of his new big brother - big as in huge! Oh well. That's what I hope you will be soon - well - in time for Christmas!!!! Take care.

Oh Sharon that's the pits to be sick so close to Christmas! I think we have all been there though, I remember me and my little two year old so sick and pucking constantly that we could not move out of bed and no one around to help. It was awful, so I hope you get to feeling better real soon!! Thanks for the wonderful comments I really appreciated them. I got nothing to complain about since I have a new home (soon that is?) well wait I'll complain about my aching back and arthritis, and I use to clean new homes for a living. I was much younger then..ugh, oh, dang, ouch..your get the picture. Happy Holidays Sweetie and I'll say a prayer for ya.

Sharon,

Vitamin C and chicken soup! (A hot toddy every now and then isn't bad either.) Hope you are feeling better soon. The spiders look great on the trees!

I'm off and singing all I want for a Christmas is a Hippopotamus ...

Hi Sharon, I have to admit I've never heard this before, but it's really great! Hope you'll be feeling better soon. Just rest and take it easy. That's the best way to get past it, and everything else can wait.
hugs for Christmas,
Debra
