Mail Art and Another Flower Pin

Saw a video on mail art and thought mmm I have all these precious
scraps just laying around... and that is all it took. I had fun gluing and
snipping away. This is the front and
this is the back! As I was creating this one it was snowing
just above us again. I truly wonder if we are ever
going to have spring let alone summer.
I found a tutorial for making these at
RobenMarie.com.
She has such a creative blog.
I get in trouble every time I go there!

Made another flower pin.
This one was hard to photograph. You can't really see all the
vibrant colors and designs in the fabrics.
So these are the latest projects. More to come
as long as it is raining, ever onward!
Wishing you all sunshine...

Very pretty, Sharon! It's still kinda crazy here with the GK and my sis still in town. Off to choir tonight and will post photos of the wedding soon. It was wonderful.

Your mail art is wonderful. I love your fabric flowers. You have really done Roben-Marie's tutorial proud. Happy creating...
P.S. Today we had sunshine and dark clouds and just a little hail. Spring is coming back.

You know how we blog-hop and find new blogs to follow? Well, that's just what I did this morning - came her from Pearl's blog and I LOVE your flowers! I have been making them as well and from the same RobinMarie tutorial! I made mine out of my brother's breast cancer shirt he wore for me..I'm a survivor..but sadly he didn't survive his brain and ling cancer, so the flowers are being made into pins and hair clips for his daughter and his granddaughters (and for all the girls in our family)

Anyway, so glad to meet you and I'm going to be back :-)
Your work is lovely and I can't wait to take a look at some of your past entries :-)

I use to do quite a bit of mail art a long time ago after seeing your gorgeous piece I might have to give it a go again. It's fun isn't it? And of course I love your flowers how cute. Well at least you got away from those pesky weeds for awhile :)
