I visited my dear friend Robin a few weeks ago.
Going to her place is like going to the
enchanted gardens.
It is like eye candy everywhere one looks!
Her home has been in the family just shy of
100 years, built in 1916. The inside is beautifully
decorated and so full of family history. Her Great-great
Grandfather was appointed the Territorial Governor before
Washington became a state.
He was good friends of Abe Lincoln. Lincoln gave
him the choice of being an ambassador to England or
Territorial Governor. He chose the latter because he
loved this area so much.
Everywhere you look is enchanting and one
can feel the history.
I took so many photo's that I will post more
next week. Be sure to click on the photo's for
close ups.
Once again thank you to Mary for
hosting Mosaic Monday.
Be sure to check out all the other great Mosaics.
