Feels Like Winter So I Hide in the Studio

Yes that is snow on My. Si and we have had snow
in the yard this morning. So Teddy and I are hiding out
in the studio. I can't believe it is April18th.
I can see my camera reflected in the window in my photo.
Sorry about that but I am not going out. No way....
This was a few days ago and he
still is in his blankie.
On a warmer day! He held on to that
bone for 1/2 a day before eating it.
I think he has a crush on the lady at
the bank.
The only flowers I see are on my drawing table.
Not liking the pansy, will have to practice more.
The few plants I have outside are shivering.

Aloha Sharon,
Oh my, snow! We've had such muggy weather of late, I think I would welcome the dust of snow right now.
I love your illustration of your Teddy, so cute! And your watercolor rendition of flowers are beautiful.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving such a sweet comment.
TFS and hugs.

I am with Teddy! Even over here in the land of sun (Tri-Cities), it is cold. I was so excited the other day when it got above 60 degrees. It feels like early March! I am just learning to watercolor and your artwork keeps me inspired. Thanks!

I don't blame Prince Teddy for not wanting to venture out into the cold weather.
Lovely inviting surrounds you have to take a walk in. Obviously you have put a lot of thought, and work, into planning your garden. It is autumn here in Aus and my periwinkle is bravely flowering too.

I like your pansy, and Teddy looks so happy with mommy and dreams of the bank lady. My pup is in love with Dutch Brothers drink guy :)it's the highlight of his week. So fun, hope you get some sunshine soon. We had sun for 2 whole days now but so cold. Hugs,Pearl

Don't blame you stay in the nice warm room. What an amazing view though. Some more terrific artwork....love how they tell a story. Your flowers are beautiful especially the daffodils and the blue flowers. My Mum was telling me all about pansies and how they should be drawn the other day. As they are her favourites. Sorry can't remember anything to pass on. All I know is that the pansies that were on the decoupage sheet were drawn wrong. ;-)

I'm shivering too, Sharon. This winter will never end!

Lovely paintings!

Lat night on the way to choir we noticed new snow nearby. Yuck! This has been a really cold April, hasn't it? There's lots to do outside but I've not been inspired. We were in Chicago the only week it was warm here. :( PS Nice flowers, especially the morning glory.

Very cold and rainy here too. Enough with the winter I say! Your painted flowers are wonderful. Happy Easter...
