EDiM for May 25th,26th,27th,28th and 29th

I am a little late but I do have a good
excuse. I had to have some biopsies
done (thought it would be a piece of cake)!
Unfortunately the antibiotic they gave
me to apply, which I did like a good
girl, well it turned out that I am allergic
to it.  Not a good thing! I swelled up
and turned red and just want to
scratch away (which I can't). But
here I am with a parade of days and paintings.
My favorite birdie.
My feeble attempt at a sea sponge. Looks more
like chocolate chip cookie dough. Remember
I was on drugs when I attempted this one, so
be kind.
The Emerald City.
Looking from our dining room into the
great room. Yes I live in a log home. Can you
see the dust.
Had to draw people doing something.
Can you see the popcorn between the two gals in
the back row. Mmmm who could that be....?
Well only two more to go and I will have managed to
do the whole entire month of May.
I think I'll make it.
Oops I see I had already posted the 25th. Sorry about that!

Oh my goodness, how lovely your drawings are Sharon!!! I'm so glad to see your work. And, honestly the sea sponge looks pretty realistic to me! I knew what it was, but now that you mention the cookie dough I'm going to have a hard time steering my shopping cart AWAY from it the next time I'm in the store! :) Beautiful work. I will look back for more. Take care. ~Janee

Sorry to hear about the allergy problem. Hope all is well with you by now. I love the sweet little journal pages that you created and also your statement of having "a parade of days" ahead.

I love those little paintings Sharon! What a wonderful idea to be focused on the moment and catching the feeling quickly.
I have a goal this year to fix myself a little watercolor kit to carry with me so I can stop and do a little painting whenever I find a noteworthy vista.
You have really managed to capture the essence of what you were seeing and feeling!

Sharon I am so hoping that you are feeling ever so much better today. Prayers for your clean health. I am truly enjoying each and every one of your drawings. What a wonderful way to diary one day at a time in your life. We had a very rainy day yesterday and now the sun is faintly shining...still very cold though. I think a walk in town is in order just to get out and about. Happy and Safe Memorial Weekend my dear...

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment Sharon and a big thank you for the head's up about the little watercolor kit.
I looked at a few at Michael's but they were a bit to pricey for me right now so the one you recommended might just do the trick.
Happy painting and crafting my blog friend!

Your drawings are wonderful! Each day you come up with another one. You'll have so many little drawings to look back on when you finish this month. What an accomplishment!

I hope you're feeling better.

That sweet chickadee was well worth a 2nd look! Love your sketches, and yes, I DID see the popcorn between the girls! Good for YOU for trying people!!! I'm sending very positive healing vibes your way and hope that the biopsy results are negative. Will also send a few blessings your way too, Sharon. Lots of hugs, Terri xoxox

Sending lots of good thoughts your way, Sharon. That's a fun sketch of Seattle! I heard once that the pointy top was added to the Smith Tower to keep the Space Needle from being the tallest building. Ha, who'd have thought there'd one day be buildings that tower over both of them? Feel better soon. Hope those itches go away fast!

Allergies are no fun! Good for you for persevering, though. Chocolate chip cookie dough?....maybe - or perhaps a Hermit!
