We had put off mom's day as my son had
hurt his shoulder and needed to heal. So
we celebrated at Edmonds Wa on Saturday
as they were having the Edmonds Art Festival &
Farmers Market too. The photo above is from the Farmers market.
The flowers were gorgeous and so was the food and veggies!
Then we approached the Art Festival!
So many tents and a whole day to wander through.
The weather finally started to behave so one could
leave the umbrella behind. Sorry I did not get any pics
of the artist work as I was to busy looking!
Then we headed down to the beach after a yummy
lunch of Thai food. We were greeted by my special friends ...
We found sea glass and had a good walk. On some of the
rocks we found these brass art that I thought you'd
like to see. Click on photos to enlarge if you like.
What a fun day spent with my terrific son.
Thanks sweetie!

Even if the weather wasn't perfect it still looks like a fun day.
HB and I lived in Edmonds, WA back in the very early 90's!
What a great day it must have been Sharon! The brass art on the rocks is so special, but I think a walk with my son would have been the high point for me as I am sure it was for you!

Sounds like a lovely day.
Such a terrific post and what a lovely day. Really like the brass sea creatures. And that would have been so much fun going through all those artists tents. Thanks for sharing.
It sounds like a terrific belated Mother's Day. I love Edmonds, it's a beautiful little town with many wonderful shops.
The bronze sculptures are wonderful.
