I love blue poppies and hope to plant
some this summer.

We had a week of beautiful sunny weather. One
day it actually got to 61 degrees!
The rain has returned so I am back in the studio
painting away.
I though about reorganizing the studio and then
remembered the last time I did that, and thought
better of it. Just paint! LOL

I love Blue Poppies too. About 15 years ago I planted some and they were glorious for one season, but never came back. I'll try again some time - maybe this year, after this inspiration.
This is a gorgeous painting, no wonder it already sold! Not seen blue poppies before either but really want some now! We have -5 Celcius today so just a bit cold! x
