The Sun came out....!!!!!!

Saturday it rained all day so I made
more watercolor cards.
Sunday came and wow it was sunshine
everywhere.
So I headed for the garden to weed
and to plant.
There are also a lot of weeds. But
what a glorious day. My garden was
so happy to see me weeding away.
It's now 8:30 PM and my bones are
tired but happy. Just wanted to show
you my new fun cards and tell you
THE SUN CAME OUT IN
WASHINGTON!!!!

Well we are certainly a mini me of you over there, it is 80degrees today and no wind? Yay! So I potted plants and pulled weeds. I let "Baby" come out with me and he ran his fool head off chasing balls. He has been couped up too. See ya on F.B. Hugs, Pearly

Sharon - so glad you got sunshine and got to weed and tinker in the garden - there is nothing like it - glad you had some rain though because you made the most beautiful cards. Your art is truly lovely. Thanks for sharing. God Bless You.

I love quotes. They are perfect with your pretty watercolored paintings. If we don't have sunshine, we have dust. And I'd much rather have sunshine. Although that means it's extra hot, too. 114 here today. :/ Have a good one. Tammy

I just found your blog and am loving your cheerful watercolour paintings. I have always longed to be able to do what you do. I wanted to point out something tht is a fairly common mistake. The saying
'earth laughs in flowers' is actually by Ralph Waldo Emerson. he wrote it in 1876 in his poem Hamatreya......ee cummings wasn't born until 1894! I am a rubber stamper and one of the companies I demo for jut came out wth a stamp attributing this quote to ee cummings as well. So you are not alone, it is a common misconception. I am going to now spend a delightful evening perusing your blog. It looks like a happy place!

I'm really enjoying roaming around in your blog - it is inspiring me to maybe get out my paints and colored pencils again. I'm recuperating from emergency back surgery and this might be a good time filler - between taking short walks and doing physical therapy. Thanks for the inspiration.
