Sketching Some Flowers

I am always happy when I find  the tiny wild violets
growing in the shade near the woods. They are just
precious.
I planted Hollyhock seeds last year and they
grew...but no flowers. When they popped
up this year they decided to bloom. I
was unaware that they usually wait
for the second year to bloom.
What a sweet surprise.

I just love your paintings Sharon. I'm glad you mentioned that about hollyhocks, I was disappointed to see no flowers on my new plant. Next Year!

Such pretty little flower paintings. I have coneflower seeds to plant when the weather gets better and have been told they won't flower the first year or so. I love hollyhocks! Happy mid-week to you. Tammy
