The Great Blue Heron

About a week ago I went for a walk about the property and well
you can read the rest above. So I started these pages for my journal.
Unfortunately  I've  "been down for the count" as one would say.
No not the flu or cold but very painful stomach pains. After
rolling about the bed for three days I was "taken" to the doctor.
Tests were run, (many tests) and so far everything is coming
back normal. One more test result to go.....
Now really I feel fine except for the stomach pains.
Kinda takes the wind out of my sails so to speak.
But I am still alive and somewhat kicking. Thanks to all
for your concern. YES I wish I had been doing some
magnificent  thing such as.....mmmmm at a painting class
in Italy, cooking lessons with a famous chef , laying in the sun
on some far off island, you get the drift. I must say Teddy my
loyal Bichon stayed by my side every second, starring at me
with those big brown eyes. I swear he took my pulse a couple
of times. Anyway I don't like writing "non fun" stuff so I shall close
for now. Teddy wants to watch a rerun of Downton Abbey. He's
addicted. Have a great weekend everyone of you.

Dear Sharon - hope you are feeling better - it is no fun being sick and it is scary not knowing why too. I will be praying you are better soon. Your heron is amazing. I have at times caught sight of one at my neighbor's pond and they almost don't look real. Sometimes think they are a statue at first glance. Your Teddy is adorable and I have never watched Downton Abbey but I think I need to start. Take care friend and get well soon.

Sharon I shall keep good thoughts for your test results. Frustrating to feel pain and not know how to fix it. That was my year 2012. Bless Teddy for taking such good care of you. Your blue Heron is divine. Our weather has been very much like your weather. I love it but realize we are still in for Winter for several months yet. Rain predicted Tuesday. Healing Hugs Dear...

Sharon, I send good vibes and hope that by now you may be a little better.. HMmmmmm! wonder what that could be.?
Great Blue Herons are one of my favorites and of course here in Florida I see them in my backyard .
I live on a small lake (pond?) yes, that more like it a pond.
They will sometimes walk right past my back door..
Please feel better.. let us know ..

What an absolutely wonderful painting and drawing - such an art!!!! I really admire this talent.

So sorry about the pains - nothing can take us down like unexplained and recurring pain - hope it all works out in the end. Tell Teddy I think it is nice of him to watch Downton Abbey so that you will have something fun to participate in. Have a better weekend!

A friend pointed me to your blog today. I'm glad she did. Your work is beautiful. It's rather ironic that I show up here to a post about your health. I have some experience with digestive disorders (namely, celiac disease in my husband, six kids and myself). Therefore I will offered some unasked-for advice and hope I'm not out of line when I suggest that your stomach pains may be caused by gluten or some other sensitivity. Doctors are catching up, but they are still not savvy enough (in my opinion) about celiac disease and gluten sensitivity. There is a great deal of information readily available on the conditions. Therefore, if you feel so inclined to do some research, it may bear fruit.

Cozying up on the couch with Teddy watching Downton sounds pretty good to me! Yes, I am challenging myself. Great journal page.
