Look Who Came For Sunday Brunch....

 Just enjoying the pond,
the cat statue and
and the sunny morning.
He or she (didn't get to close) took a "CAT"nap
by the pond for quite a long time and then wandered on
to the pasture. Quite a beautiful little creature, but now
Teddy can't go out without me.
You won't hear me calling
"Here kitty kitty!"

Oh he or she is certainly a big kitty. Do you often see them around?

Ooooh - isn't he bold! - his cousins lives near Pondside and drives Rory crazy. We know when he barks at the glass doors that a cat or a little black bear is nearby.

This is such a rare sighting and a beauty she is. Teddy will most definitely need to be accompanied from now on.

Amazing pics! The one we see is usually hunting on the wildlife trail just east of the cottage & I never have time to grab the camera. So neat that you could watch this one for a while. :)
Have a great week, Sharon!
Hugs,
Zuzu

Great sighting. We had one come right up on our deck when we lived in CA - and for about a week our cat would NOT go out the door - which was fine with me, although they do wander away quite fast, I've heard they don't spend time in one area very long, which was nice, we never saw the bobcat at our house again.

They are beautiful and grand. I had one come to my sliding door while at work a few years ago. I almost thought it was a kitty and let it in. Be safe in your woods...

We had one of these in our backyard last winter, right up next to our patio. I just read that someone on the other side of the hill lost a dog to one of these critters, so I'm very glad you're keeping close tabs on Teddy!

Oh wow great photos but bit too close for comfort me thinks.

What an awesome photo op! I don't blame you for not letting Teddy out without you. You be careful too.

Golly Sharon - what a privilege to capture this beautiful animal on film. Is this a fairly common site where you live or highly unusual? Thanks so much for sharing. Hope you have a wonderful Easter and do watch out for Teddy.
