A Beautiful Day...

My Saucer Magnolia is very happy to see the
sunshine and so is my peach colored rhodie.
Both are opening up and they are gorgeous.

I might add that Chester has been AWOL all day.

I have several Pieris Japonicas around the place and
they are really putting on a show this year.
I am starting to (that 4 letter word) WEED...
I must say my body would rather read
than weed. I have a feeling that by tomorrow
morning I shall be  shall we say, a bit stiff.
Here's to sunshine!!!!!!!

Tomorrow, I shall premedicate. I hope that you're not too stiff because it certainly is spring at your place and the flowering shrubs are incredibly lovely. Love the colors!

Beautiful pictures, I planted all day and then went out and got a Dogwood tree. Bring it on! Glad you had a great day! Hugs, Pearl

Hi Sharon, We sometimes think Spring is coming only to find that it is going a different direction and not the way we want. It is getting colder and we have rain. They say we are getting snow later this evening, I hope they are wrong. My Magnolia was so pretty until it froze the all of the pink flowers turned brown. Have a great day. Hugs and Prayers Your Missouri Friend.

Don't we all feel great to be outside in our gardens, even if it's only enjoying looking at all the beautiful blossom in bloom. Like you I have been working in my garden, digging holes to plant the shrub cuttings from their pots. I think a soak in a scented hot bath is what's needed. Your magnolia blossom is lovely, just wish it would last a bit longer.

Sharon - these photos are so beautiful...understand about the weeding and feeling stiff!! Maybe we should take a day to read between weeding (LOL) - have a good day.

Beautiful!! As for Chester, I just saw on pinterest that if you grate Irish Springs soap around your plants, that squirrels won't touch them. I wonder!

Lovely blossoms. I spent my day weeding yesterday and today went to Zumba and pulled a muscle in my right hind cheek before I even got to dance. Darn weeding. Just did another stint in the back. I think Aleve is in order now. May you continue to see sunshine and blossoms dear...
