Another New Journal.

The person who bought the last journal asked me
to make another.  This is a terrible photo as the glare
of the finish distorts the depth of the colors. It has
extremely vibrant colors. Could be the fault of
the photographer as she (me) was in to much of
a hurry. I had to run outside and take down all
my hanging flower baskets as it was snowing.
I was tricked into thinking it really was warming
up. After all it was in the 70's. Now it's in the
30's. I had spent the week planting all these
lovely baskets with annuals. Now they are all
huddled in the corner of the deck under a
warm blanket. I give up. What's a girl
to do......

Poor flowers - not the only ones to be fooled by the sunshine. Today was very windy and cold here, but the sunshine was gorgeous!

Yikes! It's that much chillier in North Bend? We sure have had the old seesaw treatment, haven't we?

Lovely cover on your journal, I feel for you, with your hanging baskets. This year I have taken the advice given by my garden centre, NOT to put my hanging baskets & troughs out yet, & I'm so glad as we are going away for two weeks which has just been arranged on the spur of the moment. so I havent even prepared my baskets yet, Usualy by this time of the year I have 20 of them planted, Hope there will still be plants left when i return home. Hope your baskets are surving your still cold weather,

That journal is pretty, Girlfriend. Snow again? Geez...

Thanks for your usual sweet comments on my jewelry. This was the best retreat of classes yet. I loved all three projects and will make th again. Wish you could join me, we would have tons of fun.

Beautiful journal. In past years here we never plant any flowers until at least Mother's Day due to snowfall. This year was unusual and flowers are planted everywhere except my yard...too lazy so far. Hope Spring comes soon for you Dear...

Dear Sharon - this journal is beautiful. It looks so vibrant to me...so I think the photographer isn't so bad at all (LOL).
