April 30th... Really?

I woke up to snow and it is still snowing.
They say we should be at 82 degrees by
Saturday. Sure we will....
The family room looks like
a garden shop because last night I
thought it was getting way too cold so
I brought all the hanging baskets in.
So much for planting early.
I hope you all are having better weather.
:-)

We must be a little lower than you - we didn't get snow but it sure was cold - and the sun is out today - but it is only about 50 degrees - they say 72 here by the weekend - right - yeah sure - uh huuuuh - until they change their minds and give us more cold. At least it is pretty and green (from inside the house looking out)

It doesn't look so pretty in April as it did in December. Glad that you were able to rescue your plants.

The sun is shining and it is hot and humid. I'll soon be complaining about the heat! A *cool* front is coming in for the weekend and I am going to enjoy it!

Dear Sharon - the tulips look beautiful but I can imagine your disappointment in thinking the snow was done with you. Is this unusual for you at this time of the year? Hope it will not hurt anything that is flowering...apple, peach, etc.

Oh my goodness, this is a spring for the books. I hope that you saved all of your hanging baskets . . . it must have been a real shock, getting all that snow, right when you were starting to enjoy your lovely spring weather.
I am back from my trip to LaGrande and I had a wonderful time. Lots of family fun with my two granddaughters, and although my daughter had her head buried in her books most of the time, we did have some great time to visit, too. When I left she was caught up with all her studies and feeling fresh and ready to take on the world, again. God blessed us all in many wonderful ways, this week. Thank you for the lovely comment that you left on my blog, you're a sweet new friend.
Your blogging sister, Connie :)

Your tulips look beautiful! I hope they survive the snow. Today we were in the 80's and very windy and it's supposed to stay the same for the next few days.

Hi Sharon, the weather has been so crazy everywhere. They are saying we are going to have snow by Thursday. We have had 85 degree weather the last couple of days. It makes you want to plant some flowers, but I am still holding off. I love the journals from the previous post so pretty and bright. Have a wonderful day. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend.

I am sorry you are still experiencing Winter. Your tulips are beautiful. You are having the Winter we normally have. This year however has been very dry and I can only imagine how horrible and extra long our fire season will be. Sending you sunshine...
