Let's start with Mothers Day.
I was so very sick and are plans had to be put
on hold but my son wanted me to have these
complete with a chocolate orchid. What a
sweetheart.
Ok. I broke down after 10 days of this and went
to the Dr. Acute bronchitis, bad cold, yadda yadda yadda...
Now on drugs that make me worthless and sleepy.
I am to remain quiet and sedate.... people who know
me know that might be difficult....
This is the photo coming to front door.
My bedroom window (upstairs) looking down
onto front garden
My Iris growing through the weeds
(I can hear them growing the weeds that is)
My yellow Exbury azalea... yes it is orange but I bought yellow some 20 years ago....
My sweet hostas rescued from the mouths of those sweet
deer, now living in pots on our deck ( the hostas not the deer)
Pink Ballet rhodie by the pond off our deck.
When I moved here 24 years ago I planted over 50 rhododendrons, some
around the house a lot in the woods. It really paid off beautifully. So nice to
walk and come upon these beauty's. I love them one and all (even the orange one the
thinks it's yellow)
Well I am off to be sedate and quiet...
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
Please make some noise in my honor. :-)

Feel better soon! Love the iris -- my favorite flower. Great color surrounding you!
You'd better be quiet and sedate. Sleeping through a thing can be the best way to go. You have lots of beautiful plants. I adore irises.
I am so sorry you have been so sick. With meds you may get well sooner. How very sweet of your son to spoil you on Mother's Day. Your yard is beautiful. I did hear my weeds growing and so have spent the last two days on my hands and knees groaning as they grow. I actually like a lot of them, especially when they have tiny little flowers that are so pretty. I just let them stay for a while longer. Healing Energy Dear...
Hope you feel better soon! I know how you feel about being quiet and sedate, next to impossible for me!! Beautiful pictures. Get well soon!!
What a lovely tour - I'd love to see more of your log cabin house. The flowers are glorious. I have a lot of plants living in pots on my deck too and had to laugh at the thought of deer living in a pot on the deck.
We'll make some noise for you - we are picking up our middle grandson in a few minutes and taking him to lunch - and then he is spending the day with us - whooopeeee what fun we'll hsve.
Sedate - yes, definitely a challenge for you but it will be somewhat easier as I'm sure the meds will knock you out a bit. Fortunately there is a light at the end of this tunnel. Hope you feel better very, very soon! Lovely photos of the flowers. Rhodos - beautiful! I'd love to see more home photos in the future! Give the boys a hug for me! :)
Good luck with the 'quiet and sedate'! I know how hard it is when you can hear the weeds growing. If I can tear myself away from the computer I'm going to go out and start pulling all the grandbabies of the buttercup I pulled last month!
I do hope you feel better soon!
Dear Sharon - bless you for sharing your gorgeous flowers in spite of being ill. Please take care of yourself and try to stay sedate. Sending you best wishes. Hugs!
Lots to catch up on I haven't touched my blog in a few years. Love your new pups how fun. your garden is gorgeous as always and I love your colorful world of art. I'll see you soon again. Love, Pearl
Apologies for not being around for a while. I had no idea you were so sick. I sure hope you're feeling better now.
xoxo
