Enjoying the Fall Weather

You wouldn't think it was coming into Fall
what with the temps in the 80's. When the sun
goes down it cools off just enough.
But soon it will turn chilly as it is already showing
in my Japanese maples with touches of red and orange.
But the pots on the  deck are giving their last hurrah!
The flowers are spilling over and enjoying the early morning sunshine.
I love the fact that the elk can't get to them. I know they
would if they could. LOL
Have been painting deck rails and botanicals. I prefer the botanicals.

So that's what I have been up to besides praying for a mild winter.
That would be nice.

Pretty little paintings. We're 30 degrees hotter over here. No Fall in sight. Afternoons are like the pits of hell. HA! :) Have a wonderful rest of the day. Tammy

We have had glorious weather up here too, and my nasturtiums look just like yours - trailing beautifully! I hope the mild weather lasts long enough for you to finish your projects.

A mild winter really would be nice! Mild and dry would be even nicer - not too dry but not like last year. Autumn is just arriving in the UK too, lovely colours in the garden at the moment. Your pots and paintings are beautiful.

Just popping in to say hello girlfriend! This summer has been amazing and the weather currently, fabulous for the Pacific Northwest - a good year! Your flowers look lovely, far better than mine at present although I do have lots of roses in bloom. Love the watercolours, as always :)

Dear Sharon - I can relate to wanting to paint flowers over deck rails...been there my friend. Your botanical art is so lovely and very inspiring. Glad to see that there are some flowers that have been kept safe from your critters. Enjoy these days as I join you in looking up for a mild winter as well. Hugs!!

Your lovely pots of trailing flowers still blooming look so pretty on your deck away from the Elk. hope you can enjoy them for bit longer. I want to think summer is still with us. Love your new collection of cards. The 'Love in the Mist' is my favorite.

Good Afternoon Sharon, I am popping by to visit you after Barbara recommended your blog. I am so pleased I have because your art work is beautiful.... I just adore your botanical prints... especially the foxglove as that is a plant I grow in my garden here in England.
I have the same colour petunia growing in my garden.... they are hanging on as autumnal days are approaching. Whilst the south of England is enjoying sunshine, here in the North of England it is much colder. I just hope my plants are able to flower for just a little longer.
It is lovely to meet you Sharon. Have a lovely day.
Best Wishes to you.
Daphne

Love those botanicals, Sharon. I heard it's supposed to be 48 tonight. What happened to summer? BTW, how are those puppies doing?
