Another Where Have I Been.......

I have been busily making small journals to sell
at the shop in Snoqualmie. Filled with 140 lb.
watercolor paper.
Used some of my handmade paper beads.
Have been asked to do a painting of Mt. Si.
Still trying to get a good photo. I think this photo
looks like a large meatloaf.....
Went to eastern Washington to have lunch with a friend.
Saw this wonderful old church, will try a sketch &
watercolor later.
And last put not least, drum roll paleez
Max and Cooper.
They are not happy with me because they had
to get extremely short haircuts.
They got wet and matted up so........ off with
their long furry coats. At least I can see their eyes now.
They won the heart of their groomer. They were very
good considering this was their first complete
haircut. I keep telling them it will grow.
Next week it's off to the vet for a snip snip.
I wonder if they will ever speak to me again.

The rains have returned and the leaves are
turning and falling. We still get some
beautiful days but I feel it in my bones "old man winter"
is coming round the bend.
Hope all is well with you and what have you all
been up to.

Enjoying your "out and about" photos. The boys look quite dapper in their new styles. Lovely journals with your fabric beads. Falling into Autumn Bliss...

What lovely journals you've made Sharon.
they would make a lovely gift to anyone, even if they didn't paint.
Oh my ! what have you done to your little fluff balls ? Does their fur grow quickly? if not you'll have to get making them winter coats. ha. ha.

Enjoy your weekend.

I just love your work - great colors.

We didn't get to take a trip to eastern WA this summer, perhaps in the spring, it is one of our favorite places but such a long drive from up here.

Nice haircuts boys!

So many wonderful textures on those journals and finished with lovely paper beads. Poor Max and Cooper, if only they knew what was coming. :-) It is always wonderful to see their faces again isn't it. Lovely photos too.

Sharon - it looks like you have been very busy my friend. Your journals are wonderful. Had to smile at your "meatloaf". Sometimes people that request certain subjects to be painted don't realize how difficult something can be to make it interesting. If anyone can do it - you can!!
Now that Max and Cooper may not be quite as fuzzy as they were but they still look like little charmers to me. Hugs!
