A Very Different Fall

The road coming into my house, with a few changing colors
Thankful for my Japanese maples for the Fall colors
This doesn't even begin to show the gorgeous reds.
Oh O whats this. It is almost November and my impatients
are still growing and blooming.
Yes the weather has been so strange. So warm for
this time of year here in the foothills of the Cascades.

Hi Sharon. Our weather is very warm also and our Fall colors have been less than spectacular. Very drab this year. With high winds any colors we did have are mostly blown away. May we both have the rain we so desperately need. Blessings Dear...

What a lovely drive to your house! And your Japanese maples are stunning. The impatiens are gorgeous and do make it seem like summer. We finally had a few frosts here but still no rain.

It's been warm on Vancouver Island too, Sharon. We've had a beautiful fall. Predictions are whirling about with regards to a warmer than normal winter. I hope we have a normal amount of rain, or we'll be in trouble next year.

Our autumn has been different too. Wasn't sure if the foliage was going to give us much color but last week it came through. Hope it does the same for you. Your impatient plant is gorgeous. Looks like it is giving you lots of color. Hugs

Wonderful photos. Same here in Bellingham - warmer than normal and things think it is spring because of the rain after a long dry spell in the summer. Glorious green fields to enjoy though.

Your photos are beautiful - I bet the landscape has changed quite a bit over the last few weeks.
I know it's early, but I'd like to wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving!
