Elk here, elk there, elk everywhere

On my way home from delivering a painting I came across a
few elk over 200 to be exact. I stopped counting to take pictures.
It was a neat thing to come across. I watched until it got to dark

Wow this is truly an amazing sight. That grass is emerald green...our grass is "California Gold" (they are spinning it from dead brown grass!) Are these Elk wild or on a ranch? We got 1/2" of rain finally. Beautiful drive you must have had.

Sherry these are wild elk. We really have to drive with care on the roads , especially at night.

That's a lot of elk! They are so beautiful! I know they tear up your garden, though, Sharon. We had five come through our yard last week.

So that is where all our elk have gone. We haven't seen any for many months - in fact, well over year. What a glorious sight for you to find - lovely photos. That one fellow looks like he is interested in your camera.

What an awesome sight! We've never seen Elk in WA, and you are pretty close to us. Deer walk through our yard and other critters, but no elk.

I can understand why you sat and watched for awhile, Sharon. They look like magnificent creatures.
Love the colors you used on the cards in your last post. Just beautiful.

Sharon wow what a site. Is this rather unusual to see so many at one time. So glad you caught them on film.

How nice that you had the time to stay and watch….something we should all be doing from time to time. Nature is just amazing.
