Ah It'sThat Time of the Year....

I love this time of the year, especially watching the children get all
excited for all the holiday events.
Just a quick note to say I have been absent from my blog because
on election night I went to mail my ballot two towns over before the polls
closed. I was late getting the ballot so couldn't mail it. Coming down the
steps at the city hall I fell landing face first on the concrete. (It was not
a pretty sight).  My son took me to the hospital emergency room where
they proceeded to FIX me. Cat scan and all. Yes they found I had a brain!
But I had put my front teeth through my lip, fractured my nose, tore up my knee,
etc. They cleaned me up , stitched my lip and bandaged my knee (unfortunately
not seeing on my chart that I am allergic to latex) :-( So I had to deal with an
infection and blisters from that. BUT all is healing up nicely and I am off the
liquid diet ( thank heaven)! So ever onward to the holidays.
My cards are finished and most are mailed. I've started decorating the tree and
house. Etsy shop has kept me busy and local merchants have sold several of my
paintings, cards and gift tags!
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and  are
enjoying the holidays. I'll be back soon, but right now
I want to visit all the blogs I have missed.

Oh no, Sharon! I'm glad you are healing but it sounds like a terrible fall. Please, please be careful! We tend to rush around, especially this time of year, and that's when accidents happen. Take each day slow and easy. Blessings or the holidays. Tammy

Good grief, girl! That first step is always a doozy (as my granny would have said). Glad to hear you are on the mend -- in time for Christmas! Yippee!

Ouch!! I'm so sorry - but glad it is getting better. I'm sure the boys are happy you are feeling better. Did you paint pictures of them for christmas cards? Take care - no more falling. It is good to see you back.

Glad to hear you are on the mend. That sounds just awful. Your ornament photos taken in the dark are so cozy - I love them. And your circle tags - gorgeous!! I'm working on cards today. Just hung a wreath on the front door, and the tree is up. Take care, Sharon!
