A Very Creative Day, finally.....

The sun was shining and I decided to play hookie from the world. I got out my dyes and started experimenting. Of course I forgot to put gloves on and now I have some pretty wild paws. I was testing out a new dye and I really liked it. I was able to get so many shades with very little effort. Today was silk ribbons, tomorrow I shall try dying silk pongee chord for a purse I am working on.

I'M READY FOR MY WALK

I must go now as Teddy my ever so faithful bichon has had quite enough and wants to go for a walk. He has been so very patient with me. Off for a walk by the pond.

Pat! Thanks the ribbons were fun, everyone at lunch today had quite a chuckle at the colors of my hands. Luckily its fading quickly. teddy and I did see 2 dragonflies, one brilliant red and the other a deep sky blue. The blue one was very entertaining.

The dog appears to either need a colonic, or just received its hedge fund results. The dog requires more than a trivial walk....it's eyes suggest conquest, not besotted with some stray island nation of rogue contempt...but of your very soul. Be wary of the subterranean ambitions of this one, he has the desperation of a Nihilist in Czarist Russia. But I digress. I dig your ribbons, lovely as always!

Larna, Sorry to be so late in answering, but I have been gone all day. The dye is a new one for me. I am having great fun with it. It is called colorhue. You can change the colors by adding droplets of water. Therefore you can get thousands of colors. It sets instantly. Fun to play with.I will send you the website if you like, just let me know.

Sharon,
Thanks for the info on the dye. I would love the website. I haven't done much dying yet, but would love to give it a go.
You mentioned also you were having a hard time posting. I know what you mean. But practise seems to really help.
