You may remember the treasure box I started several weeks ago. After lots of paint and crazy quilting it is finished. I painted it a sage green, with a purple stripe with white polka dots. The feet have polka dots too. The inside is lined in a purple felt. The top turned out nicely with crazy quilting, ribbon embroidery, beading, some lace from 1920's France and a precious little girl who I stuffed higher than the rest of the quilt. I think the young lady will like it. I plan to have a little surprise in the box.

I don't what you're going to put in it, but the box is a treasure in itself! Beautifual work, well done!=)
SUPER adorable - awesome job! Very detailed and absolutely precious. Is that paper or material on top? Love the polka dots!! You are very talented. Sorry to hear about your dining room table being lost to crafting supplies too ;)
Elisabeth, Thank you so much. It was fun to make and the little girl I am giving it to is a treasure.
Hi Cheri, The top is material, different pcs. sewn together to create a crazy quilt, then different stitches, silk ribbon embroidery and charms were added. I found the top of the table last night. So there is hope!!!LOL
Well, your latest project is nicely done! Very creative. And I am working on my table today - congrats on finding yours ;) Hey, btw, how did you find my blog?
Cheri, I was traveling around blogs and I think you were mentioned as a favorite of the person whose blog I was on.Whew that was a long sentence. Today Iwent back but couldn't figure which one. If my noodle brain comes up with an answer, I,ll let you know.Ok. I've lost my table again, so best go find it. LOLOL!*
Sharon - this is gorgeous!!! I love your header too! I need to get back to my crazy quilting! Glad I could inspire you to get your sketchbook. :) Marva
Sharon - I just found your blog and I'm SO GLAD I did! I LOVE crazy quilting and your blog is so inspirational! I'll be following you closely from now on!! I really like the idea of putting a crazy quilted piece on top of a treasure box! I have many boxes (one of my passions) and I have some crazy quilted pieces I didn't know quite what to do with. But now - problem solved! Thanks so much for sharing your lovely art!
May God Bless, Jan Fursdon of FursdonHouse
