The gifts are in the mail.....

A few weeks ago I had a pay it forward post. The first three people to leave a comment would receive a hand made gift from me sometime in the future. They in turn were to "pay it forward" on their blog and do the same. Well I finally finished these lavender sachets for each of the ladies and thought you might like to see them before they are mailed off.

This one goes to Sharon in Texas.

This one goes to Shauna in Utah.

This one goes to Elizabeth in Oregon.
It was a pleasure to make these for you. I think pay it forward is a wonderful idea! Enjoy.

Oh, my! It's just beautiful. I can't wait to have it in my hands! I love the shells. We used to live on Galveston Island. I miss the water, but not the hurricanes. Living in Houston is close enough!

Thank you so very much. I've been working on my Pay It Forward gifts.

How pretty! It's a beautiful idea, I did it once and only 1 person signed up, then didn't give me her address! Maybe I'll have to try again soon.

Sharon, your heart sachets are beautiful. I love buttons and the embroidery reminds me of the lovely things my grandma used to make.

Thanks also for your nice comments about my blog. I love the circle that introduces us one to another.

Sharon, come back and see me. Yes the banyon is still there and I sit there often. I came to Hawaii first, the year of statehood. On a slow ship from NZ.
My family have visited the islands since 1900's or so. I left and returned for good in 1992. It has changed but much is the same. My Nanna came over on the Pan Am clipper! Saw Bing Crosby that trip. I have a place if you ever would like to stay, aloha Lilla

Hi Sharon! I love your 3 little hearts..you are very talented..Teddy is such a handsome boy! I had a long hair doxie that after she went to the groomers would parade back and forth in front of our closet mirrors and stare at herself for 2 days after..she was just so proud it seemed..You also live in a beautiful place!

These sachets are great! I love that you put their name on it too! Glad to know that bee girl made her way and that you like her! :) I just did a mermaid painting with video to match if you'd like to come by and see!

Hope all is well! :)

What a wonderful idea! I wondered what all the "play it forwards" were about that I've seen on other blogs. Your hearts are so pretty and there are 3 very lucky ladies out there! And multiplied by more!

Sharon,
Those are gorgeous.
Need to get myself in gear and do that too.

Read about it a couple of months ago, but got sidetracked.

You do such absolutely beautiful work.

Blessings,
Barbara Jean
