Wildflower tour by TEDDY.

Mom doesn't know I can run this computer thingy! She's off fixin her camera so I thought I'd show you about Wildflower. It's mostly flowers and stuff she likes. Now if I had my way... "well, I haven't met a tree , I didn't like..." but here are the pictures she and I took last weekend....

Out front. Nice trees...

Down by the creek. Wild Bleeding Heart and Periwinkle...

This is the big pond with duck island in the middle. Mom named it that because every year the ducks nest there. She says I can't go over the log to the island while they are nesting... like I'd hurt those little fur balls...really now!

Rhodies, rhodies close up... the woman likes flowers...

Blue Bells and Azaleas...
I don't hear any bells...

Now she didn't plant these, they grow wild all over the woods. They are Plantation Lilies. They will have little white flowers on a stalk in a month or two. She says they are great ground cover... whatever....

This rhodie mom saved from a fate worse than death, or so she says... It was going to be dozed and she ran in and put a halt to that. Got a truck and brought it through town up to Wildflower. We figure the old gal to be around 70 years old. Yikes....

A close up of the old gal!

Another rhodie...enough of the rhodies, thank heaven she didn't photograph them all ( over 50 of them) Let's head up to a favorite place of mine...

Ahhh the pond by the house (where the big orange fish live)

Can you hear the waterfall...

Ah the sun is starting to set...

So I'll just get under the white cherry tree, look at the blue sky (you've heard that song, I'm sure) and while mom continues to

(that's what she says she's doing when she is planting MORE flowers) I'll just say

Oh Wow! I really can't say much more! Just WOW! Your pictures are beautiful and everything looks just gorgeous (Teddy included!)! The apple blossoms just opened here today and most of the trees have leafed out. However, the oaks and ashes are yet to show their glory.

Thanks for sharing your pics,
Bella
