Look What Chester did!!!

Do you see the sign. Mmmmmm! I work very hard to fill my containers with a nice arrangement of flowers. Just the right colors and size. Right..... Well you all remember Chester my resident squirrel. Well he has generously decided to help...
Yes Chester Scattered Joy all over the place ! But this container so artistically created has Chester's touch .....
Yes that is a large sunflower (and still growing I might add)! Chester planted several of these on the grounds. I decided the little fellow worked so hard to leave them. I see him checking them out every so many days. I hope we get the seeds as he has a ferocious appetite. Now if I could only teach him to weed....

Oh, Sharon. This is too funny! *My* squirrels plant peanuts and every now and then I get a peanut plant. They have never made peanuts. I wish *my* squirrels would plant sunflowers!

Oh Sharon, that is so sweet. He's trying to help you. Bless his little heart. I think the sunflower looks marvelous. And what a beautiful deck you have. You and Chester have a green thumb(paw?).
What next? I can't wait.

Aw! Chester is quite the gardener!
Naturally, he wants to make certain that later in the summer he'll have a good supply of MORE of those yummy sunflower seeds to plant next year! ;-)
Yesterday morning we watched a doe and her fawn in the neighbor's yard. The fawn was leaping and running circles around his mom almost like he was saying "Hey, Mom, look what I can do!"
I love living in the country!

Chester is so cute. We have squirrels and chipmunks and a few bunnies here and there. Your planter is lovely. I love seeing little critters in my garden also.

Have a lovely day. Karen

Hi Sharon!
I just started getting a black squirrel in our yard that looks just like Chester!(most of ours here in Ct are brown)
We also have the same patio furniture! Ours is circa 1950's - 60's and is still like new!
I was so surprised to see that someone else has it!
Happy Summer!!

Sharon ~ you don't even know how funny your comment is re:Louie ~ Chesters cousin! My daughter had a mystery boyfriend for a while that we kept teasing her about. We finally got to meet him last night and HIS name is Louie ~ LOL!
Thanks for the good laugh ;)
