Mosaic Monday: Skagit Valley Tulips

How I spent my Easter!
The weather was sunny but very windy as we went
through the tulip fields of Skagit Valley.
This is the salmon parrot tulip, my favorite!
I made every effort to wait for the wind to stop
so the pictures would be good. Some I missed...
and some I was able to catch!

The fields went on for miles. The valley
was alive in color.
All in all we all had a beautiful time.
 for more great mosaics!

Such a glorious way to spend an Easter Sunday. The tulips are spectacular. Thank you for sharing as I do not think I have ever seen a Parrot Tulip. Deer eat everything here so no tulips for me sad to say.

Oh Sharon, what beautiful tulips, and what a beautiful song, my favorite. Spring is here!!! Our daffodils are in bloom but not the tulips just yet. One day it's winter and the next it looks like Spring.

My tulips are just now blooming. They're a little late this year. My hyacinths and such have already come and gone. So I guess it's summer flowers after this. But oh, how I dearly love tulips! (Don't ya hate it when the wind is blowing and messing up your shot?)

I found your blog this evening through my friend Donna. She suggested visiting your blog and I am glad that I did. I enjoyed reading it and the tulips are absolutely beautiful. We are in the 40's right now and suppose to get down to freezing. My magnolia tree will probably freeze. Take care.
