With help like this it may take a little longer
to put the gardens to bed this year!

Yes she is back with her two cubs and having quite a time.
We are being over run with bears this Fall and the game dept.
has their hands full. To top it off we also have a
rather large pussy cat" visiting all of us.

Needless to say Teddy is kept on a leash and
not terribly happy about it.
They come at all hours day and night. One must feel
sorry for them as they are hungry and winter is really
getting close. We had ice on our deck this morning.
Soon the bears will be napping I hope and their tummies full.
So I guess I will head for the studio and create something.

Omg!!! Never thought of these animals being in anyone's backyard. Admire them on tele. Here am I worried about some snakes. :-0

Believe it or not, we've had black bear sightings earlier this year. One walked through our backyard, and we're in northern NJ!!! I hope that you and Teddy stay safe!!!! Hugs, Terri xoxo

We've had a few wildlife challenges up here, as well, but I am missing my little Cairn Rosie's reassuring warning bark.

Wow Sharon, we have these creatures in northern MI by my brother, but I've never seen them, only heard them at night. Right now they're getting their fill, so it's good you're keeping Teddy in! Hope you can get back to tending your garden though, before the snows hit!
Wow! I don't know that I'd want to see them in my backyard... I always thought I'd like to see a bear in the wild but from a safe place. Hopefully you'll be able to get to your gardens. Have a wonderful week.

Even here in upstate New York the bears are coming out in residential areas where they haven't been seen for years....no cougars yet though, lol!
I love wildlife but have to admit with my 12 rescue cats I would prefer for them not to become something else's meal!

It is as wild where you live as it is here. But I have not seen these critters, just signs that they are here. Wishing you safe passage where ever you go.

Hey THere! Stay away from those critters, Sharon. Did you read about that aggressive mountain goat at Hurricane Ridge? The wildest thing we've had in our yard was a coyote and that was a while ago..... Hugs, and stay safe!
Oh Yes do stay indoors until hibernation time for the animals. The gardening will wait for you. :o) Happy Autumn...
My son is in Alaska and they've been having a particularly rough time with bears this year, too. I think those bears in your photo are a little too close for me! And that big kitty cat, too.

Saw on Donna's blog where you have been ill. I will just take my chances on getting the flu. The doctors claim you cannot get the flu from the vacine but I have and I don't want it again. Hope you are better soon.
