The Sea Floor
I have been working on these fiber art quilts for some time now.
Finally finished and mounted on artist canvases. Ready to be hung
in a variety of ways.
They are filled with laces, silks, shells, dyed gauze, beading, stitching,
hand-made fiber beads, specialty ribbons, etc. Artist canvases are 4"X4"
and 1 1/4" thick.
I like to photograph in natural light but today was dark and rainy so
hanging the canvases was not to be. Living in a log home with only
a few plaster walls with good natural light is a challenge on days like this.
But I promised to post today so..... here they are. Enjoy!

They turned out so pretty Sharon, I really like the different fibers and elements you used, they work together perfectly!
They are awesome, Sharon. I really love shells...to collect and decorate with, too. I would so love to be seaside right now looking collecting them in the sand!
Great work.

All the bits and pieces, the layers and colours and textures - you've got it all.
Nice work, Sharon. Makes me think of sunny days which is quite a feat on a rainy day like this one. We nearly drowned on our walk....

Sharon you have put so much work into these to capture the sea bed - it all comes together beautifully and would look fantastic all mounted together.
I do hope you are back to your normal self again after your flue injection ordeal.
Hugs Suzy
