Summer of Color Green and Citron

The colors for this week were green and citron.
So I wandered through my garden and found
this yellow Asiatic lily with it green leaves and
citron colored buds just waiting to burst into bloom.
So I added it to my Grow watercolor book.
This is one the rabbits didn't get to. We seem
to have an explosion of bunnies this year. Love
them but not when the eat my flowers.
You can all still join in the Summer of Color.

This is really beautiful. It reminds me of a book I love, called the Diary of an Edwardian Lady. She kept a lovely nature journal, which inspired me to do the same.
I'm excited to see what you do for pink. :)

Gorgeous artwork, Sharon. I like how the flower overlays the border lines too.
The bunnies have actually allowed me to enjoy the blooms this year, but some underground critter dug up the west side garden, so we built wire boxes & sunk them at ground level, and I am refilling them with dirt and replanting that side all over again. They tried coming in through the top, realized that they couldn't dig down and gave up. Hopefully, they will leave it alone now! ???

Hope you're having a great summer!
Hugs,
Zuzu
