Well August has ended and with a surprise!
The nigh of the 30th I went to cover up Tesula
our cockateil who everyone thought was a boy...
and there SHE was in the bottom of the cage
making strange noises... when out came an egg.
So I spent a few hours making a nest for her and
reading up on google "what was going on!"
So that is my excuse for not quite finishing my
September calendar. But here is what I have
done so far.
I need to add the finishing touches... but have
to finish up some journals first. I shall return.

Two gorgeous pages, lovely images and colours
You had a lot more sun in August than we did here! A very Autumn feel to your September pages.
Oh, my... Tesula is just *full* of surprises, isn't she?!!!!! Seems like a very good reason to not finish your calendar! :D :D
now thats exciting news!!
Your calendars are so full of color and art and have become your daily journal. Surprise from your Tesula...
Safe Labor Holiday weekend...
Great calendar pages. I like the way you use the sun and clouds to show your weather.
I love your calendar!
We've had a she that turned out to be a he - so I wish you the best!
I really enjoy your pages each month. I like your sunny pages but mine would ALL be sun if I did that, I'm afraid. I like how you have started your Sept. pages. They have a real autumn feel about them.
Love the autumn theme on your September pages, looks great!!
Your calendar pages are so cool. I plan to make these beginning in 2012.
does that make you a granny and have you only gto the one bird!, just wondering . . .
love your pages they look great and your blog header is fabulous. siobhan
Love the autumn scene in the margin.
I love this time of the month seeing your completed calendar and new one. Both are terrific. We had a similar surprise with our cockatiel who we thought was a boy and started laying eggs. :-) Luckily it's name was 'Sam'.
So weird to be thinking about Autumn while we are heading into Spring here in NZ. Great scarecrow :-)
I like the weather forecast you did on each of the squares
very beautiful calendars pages !!!
Your llittle calendar squares are works of art! amazing! And very funny about Tesula - any chance it could turn into a baby cockatiel?!
Thanks for commenting on my calendar. I think your notice went to my spam box. Will have to fix that. I notice you have a scarecrow on September. Very cute. I think you will be surprised when you see my October calender (Yes, it's done already...nothing better to do.) But you will have to wait until October 1. :-)
I love how you showed the weather each day in August.
Have fun filling in September.
Beautiful calendar work and your new journals are divine!! I do want to hear the "rest of the story" about your cockateil!! How exciting! But poor thing I bet that she is confused!!!!
Happy fall to you Sharon!!
