While It Was Snowing...Yes Snowing...

We really had nasty weather over the weekend, with heavy rain, thunder and what the weatherman
called "THUNDER SNOW". I had my son move all the big pots of tulips under the front
entrance just before the THUNDER SNOW hit. It was quick but heavy. The next morning as I looked out at Mt. Si and it was covered in large amounts of snow that looked like marshmallows. Today it
is just about gone. We had two bad avalanches at the pass killing two snowshoers.  So tragic.
I decided to have some studio time while mother nature decided if it was winter or spring.
So I made 20+ botanical bookmarks,  plus some feather and color drop ones too. I
laminated them and added ribbons. (sorry the lamination caused some glare on the photo).
A fun project while watching the weather!
Today the sun came out!!!!!!!!

Your bookmarks are very pretty! Were still waiting for spring in Michigan too.

The bookmarks are fabulous - indeed a good indoor project for rainy/snowy weather. Hopefully it will warm up soon. We drove down to see the tulips tonight - beautiful, but very cold.

Glad the weather is changing for you. That is very tragic for those snowshoers. Wonderful bookmarks and so many. :-)

We had absolutely crazy weather up here on the weekend as well - hail and snow and very high winds. April!

Winter is really not wanting to give up for you and many others. We are having sunshine but really cold temps and very windy. Snow higher up in the ski resorts here which is good for their business. Beautiful bookmarks. Stay warm and cozy...

Good use of the time while the weather was flipping out. Spring is so capricious.

Spring has been so long in coming for so many including us...it has finally shown up now - so sorry about those two who were killed by the avalanches. Looks like you were able to work through the snow and create some lovely bookmarkers. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day and hopefully spring is on its way for you!!
