Stitched the Chevron stitch for the binding.
I sure am enjoying Mary Ann Moss' class Sketchbookery.
Having some fun with lettering.
More lettering
and more lettering. Love this journal as
I have used several different papers. Toned paper in earth tones,
140lb. cold press watercolor, hot press watercolor paper. All great
for experimentation.
These are some perennial plants
I purchased for the big pots on the deck.
I am planting lavender and wild grasses in the garden.
The elk don't like those.
I hope they don't like them!!!!!!!

Sharon - this journal is just lovely...certainly capturing that beautiful spirit of yours too. The one that doesn't let an elk ruin her garden fever. I think the cone flowers are wonderful - I so hope as well the elk don't like them. Have a great week-end.
I'm sure you are having a grand time in Mary Ann's class. Love your journal. Good luck with the elk!
Sharon, I am trying to catch up with my friends. Gradually getting around to more of your. Your water colors are awesome. Your wild animals do love you to feed them. I was wondering about the wild fires. We have family in Spokane, so I try to keep up with what is going on out that way. It is hard at times, but maybe things will settle down a little at the nursing home. Have a great day. Take care. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend.
Oooh your SketchBookery is fabulous. The Chevron stitching is wonderful. I always enjoy your drawings. Sounds like some good plants to NOT feed the elk. I just planted some mint I hope takes off and I hope the deer do not eat it. Hot and Dry here. Happy you got some rain. Maybe we are next? Creative Bliss Dear...
Love that journal of yours. I always enjoy seeing your paintings, too. Why is it elks and deer don't like weeds?
That journal is awesome and what a great variety! Your water colors just keep getting better and better! I cannot even draw a stick man!!

Lovely! I took a travel journal to the States as I do everywhere I go and once again, didn't do a dang thing. I don't know what's wrong with me. I want to draw and doodle and journal but can't seem to keep up with it. :/ Best wishes, Tammy
You are such a clever lady Sharon, I so love your binding of the journal. Lovely artwork and what fun lettering.
