Spent My Birthday in the Tulips

Went up to the Skagit valley to see the tulips.
It was a sunny 70 degrees.
 The colors were spectacular.
So many flowers ...so little time
One of the biggest treats of all . The snow geese were in the fields. Magnificent birds. What a glorious site to see

Had dinner on the waterfront in La Conner. I would say I was
spoiled rotten by my son. He made my day very special.

What a wonderful way to spend your birthday! Happy Birthday Sharon! You picked a beautiful time for a birthday in the Pacific Northwest. Some day I'll head south to see those tulips.

Happy birthday - we are almost twins. What a lovely trip - and to see the snow geese. We've been down to Skagit about 10 times and have only seen the Trumpeter Swans on 8 of those trips. We thought the Snow Geese had left already. There were certainly a lot more Swans this year than most. Your flower photos are fabulous - glad you had such a great day.
