Happy 2017 dear. It rained on Jan 1st and it snowed on Jan 2nd. All I managed to do is get a nasty cold and sort through some old photos. Wonderful fresh new beginning for each of us. Health and Happiness...

Today this surgery is done as routine, but it still scares me.
My mother was one of the first open heart surgery patients .
It was 1959 and was still very scary. She was in her 50's at the time. She did very well and lived to age 80.
