Where Did May Go................

 Wow we are into June already. My Dogwood is heavy with beautiful blooms.

At night they light up the  yard magically. 

 Over in Snoqualmie  the train running again on its summer

schedule and is fun to watch especially the children.

 I was asked to do some Fathers Day cards. Why I always 

equate fathers day and fish I don't know...but I like this fish 

as he is very colorful.

So I made some funny and some serious cards.

 I survived by the skin of my teeth finishing up
Every Day In May for the sixth year in a row.
I had so much going on this year it was hard to keep up.
But so worth it in the end. Can't wait for year seven for me.

The first year I made a case for my work and after that
the next five years were made into books.

I know, I know you've seen this before...
but I need a nap now!

TA DA I FINISHED.......!

 Draw a bird feeder or birdhouse. I made birdhouses for years

and sold a lot of them.Some were wood and some actually had

stone on them. It was fun to see where they all ended up.

 A sweet nest I found on the ground last winter. Eggs still intact.

 Well another year finished.  That makes 5 years of  EDinM.

The year 2011 I didn't have my binding machine so I made

a sweet box to house my 31 drawings. After that all are bound.

It is a lot of fun to look back at all of them.

Almost Finished..........

 Draw an interesting detail of a building. I was going to draw

the wood ceiling in my bedroom but laying on my back

that long didn't work. I just kept napping.

 I only have one key on my chain for the car.. I lost my keys

several years ago, leaving me with replacing all the locks on 

my doors of my house. All eight of them. :-( Never again.

I have always worn my fathers shirts when I paint. 
Now I'm down to the last one. 

 Last Saturday I  think this van had to be ahead of me
as I was trying to get to a class on time.
But I must say I had a good chuckle when I saw this 
on Facebook.

Draw something furry or fuzzy. No problem there....
Cooper has the wildest hair in the morning
 and I a;ways have to giggle when I see him.

We have tennis ball size bunnies and then there are the large ones

My oh my do we have bunnies.............

Yup! And it started in the middle of winter.....

What a mess but my son was johnny on the spot

to fix it. You should have seen my water bill.............

The pipe under ground actually broke too....................

I shall return with the final drawings soon.

Crossed The Halfway Mark of EDM

 Max was just about to try this on, but I saved the day!!!

 How could they ask us to draw this.....cruel punishment

and NO I didn't run to the bakery for one, well not yet...

 Yes that's my wallet and the three cents I have in it.

 Many a good books have been read here with a puppy on

each side of me.

There is a great Russian history in Alaska. I saw some 

beautiful buildings with the onion dome. I found this 

sweet statue and have loved it ever since. My drawing

doesn't do it justice.

I'll be back with a few more days soon.

Pretty soon it will be over and my blogging might get back to normal.

Ever Onward with EDM

I sure do use these everyday.

This is a huge hand knit sweater, great for cold

weather and snowy days. I could give it away but

I won't.

Yummy and oh so easy to whip up.

Ha it really should be in feet where I live.

"Are you done mom.??? Can we go for a walk,NOW"

 Draw something you can turn on/off.

The Next 4 Days of Every Day in May.

 Hot red peppers on a raffia rope from Arizona. 

 Just a few of my painting tools. Don't even ask how many I have....

 I love sending my letters in art envelopes. Always fun to

find something happy in the mailbox besides those dreaded bills.

My favorite old watering can. It is now retired but has a 

place of honor in my display of metal watering cans.

I know, I know but you all know I am a little quirky.

It is Every Day In May Time again

Yes it's time for EDM again. I have been

doing this since 2011 and love it.

If you want to know more and have some fun

You can start any time and there is no rush to catch up.

So here are my first four days.

 Draw a favorite food. Ah sushi and miso!

 Draw a nearby tree. Many moons ago I purchased 

a SMALL Coral Bark Japanese Maple. I loved that 

the bark was coral colored and would look great

with snow around it and beautiful with its lime 

green leaves in summer. It is now over 18 feet 

tall and it is gorgeous in every season.

 Draw curtains. Oh dear me I don't have curtains

in my house as I live in the middle of the woods.

So I drove to town  and found a shop w/curtains.

Draw bottle(s) of herbs or spices.

No problem there. So many bottles, so 

little thyme. Sorry couldn't help myself.

Anyway it is lots of fun so come and join in.

here. Such as when Cooper and Max met 

their first bunny.  :-)

I have joined this group for the last 4 years, 

making books at the end of each year.

The one for 2011 actually I made a file box and \

slipped the pages in. After that year I made  books

using my rubicoil machine.

I have spared you a picture every day! This was fun this year and am looking forward

of my closet. NO NO NO!!!

Called " Mother in Laws Tongue". You can't

kill it. I must add that my mother  in law was a

real sweetie and a great artist.

I hav done this EDIM for three years now

and I decided to keep them all in a case box or

 make a small book. This year the book won out.

It's fun to look back and see all the crazy things

they asked us to create.
