Whidbey Island Storm : Mosaic Monday

Last week  when we went to Whidbey Island, where I photographed the doors, the island was in storm mode. Most of the above photos were taken in 60 mph winds. I was very happy that they were not just a big blur. As you can see the seagulls know to face into the wind.  I dare say they are smarter than some humans I know.... Above the cloud bank you can see the rising moon.  This trip was fun and exhilarating!
Be sure to stop by Mary's Little Red House to see all the other Mosaic Mondays!
Thanks Mary once again for hosting this fun event!

It does look stormy, Wonderful mosaic. I hope the fishing boat was on the way back home. I can not imagine being on a boat in a storm.

Sharon, I hope that vessel out there is heading for shore. Even with the wind it looks beautiful.

"Mother Earth" is coming along just fine so far. Did you send good thoughts, or has your muse showed up at my house.

Have fun
beth

Sharon, we've always wanted to go to Whidby! We've been to Bainbridge, up to Sequim and Port Townsend and Paulsbo, but the islands sound so beautiful! How blessed you are to live in such a lovely place with all of that within a drive!

But...we have the Finger Lakes and the Adirondacks!
