Went a little crazy the last couple of weeks.
I would sit at night and make beads and
watch TV, the Olympics, etc.
I started to realize...
I had a lot of beads to glaze!
I have put four coats of glaze on them and they are
now very hard and shiny.
The white looking ones are actually sheet music.
(kind of hard to see the notes in the photo's)

Will make cute jewelry for a music teacher, don't you think!
Another fun project.

Do you think I might talk you out of a couple of those white music ones at our next rendezvous? You're so clever!
There you go again!!!! :D :D
Love your beads Sharon...
Sitting in front of the tube in the evenings is the best spot to accomplish those repetative tasks.
I would love a few of those music ones!!!!

I remember making beads like this with my Mum many many years ago. These look fantastic Sharon. The olympics were so much fun weren't they!
They are beautiful! Love to see them in a group like that. Perhaps you could add a few of the music beads to a nest or small vintage bottle?
Can you tell I am in to birds these days,LOL.
Hugs,Pat
You make some lovely crafts! I have become lazy I guess as I used to knit, quilt etc.
Thank you for visiting me and leaving a nice comment.

You have been busy! That's a lot of beads and they all look so pretty.
No idle hands for you. What a treasure of beads you now have. They are wonderful and you will use them for the perfect embellishments. Well done.
Aren't they addictive and meditative. One can sit and roll away with each bead and each is unique!!! Did you use fabric/paper or just paper???? The sheet music ones and so coola nd I use foreign texts for a fun look as well, especailly if layered under some colored tissue!!
May be we should plan a trans continental play day????/LOL!!!
Hugs!
I just bought a necklace made from beads that were made out of old church bulletins. I love the ones you made from sheet music.
Thanks for visiting my blog and good luck in the glitter giveaway.
Sharon, what kind of glue are you using? I've wanted to make beads for ages and am so involved in other stuff. This sounds like a fun thing to do while watching TV like you said.

Oh you did an amazing job with those music beads!
TV job, as you said ;)) I usually read my magazines while hubby's watching tv (and Kim's sleeping OVER me!). I rarely work at night.
Can't wait to see what you'll create with them!
Monicaxo.
How pretty! I thought the beads in the jar were made of glass at first - they are lovely!
