Sunshine and Tulips...

The tulips I saved from the Thunder Snow are happily starting
to open on this sunny day.

These are my pinks and rose colored ones.

My purples and hot pinks seem to be late
this year.
Caught Chester the resident squirrel dining
on my violas. He has no manners, but told me
he thought these were a delicacy! The nerve
of him....
What is left of the blooms on my weeping cherry
after the thunder snow. Hope mother nature has
finally settled on warmer weather.

Such lovely photos. That Chester is a rascal - I had no idea they liked violas - I'll have to watch for the squirrel mob that sometimes visits my yard.

Yes I do hope mother nature has decided on spring! The sun today was a welcome pleasure and Claire and I spent the afternoon outside.
Your flowers are so pretty, mine haven't opened yet, maybe this week!

Oh I love all these photos. So glad you saved the tulips. Many years ago when I moved from home to south Australia one of my first purchases was a bunch of tulips. We can't grow these at all up here in the tropics.

How lovely your tulips are, & all standing up so staight after all the snow you have had. nature is such a wonderful thing, and some of the plants thrive on the cold. Hope your warmer weather is there to stay for you and you can enjoy some of the sun we are having at the moment and be able to get out hands on working in the garden. Look forward to seeing more of your wildflower posts.

Your tulips are stunning. I haven't any but may need to plant a few in my fenced area where the deer won't eat them for fun. Chester please don't eat my favorite little Johnny Jump-Ups (Violas). Your weeping cherry tree is gorgeous!!! Spring Stay Please...

I just love tulips and these are gorgeous, I'm in town but no sign of squirrels yet. I am inundated with mosquito eaters, guess that's better then getting eaten up. Hugs, Pearl

Your yard is beautiful . . . don't you just love the Spring blooms. I wish that my tulips lasted all summer. I guess we just need to enjoy them while they are here. It presents a great lesson for us, to enjoy the beauty in each day while it is here, because each day holds a new beauty in itself :)
Have a lovely weekend.
Your blogging sister, Connie :)

At least Chester doesn't bother your tulips! Or does he?
